TurenOS keeps projects and sessions available in a desktop-style tab strip. A session that is already open is selected rather than duplicated.

Tab behavior

  • Draft tabs are local composer state until the first prompt creates a session.
  • Session tabs point to durable server-owned sessions.
  • Closing the active tab selects its left neighbor when available.
  • Closing a tab does not delete the session.
  • Recently closed session tabs can be restored in their previous order.

Groups

Tabs can be assigned to colored groups, reordered within a group, or moved between groups. Groups help separate investigations, remediation work, and unrelated repositories. The selected tab, pending route request, and committed route are reconciled so an asynchronously changing route cannot reopen a tab you just closed. External routes still win once they are committed.

Shortcuts

Use the command palette and configured keybindings to create, select, close, reopen, and move tabs. Keybindings are shown in menus and can vary by platform.
Use separate workspaces and tab groups for parallel changes to the same repository. This keeps filesystem state and conversational context aligned.
