# Subagents

> Delegate bounded work to durable specialized sessions

Subagents let one session delegate independent work without blocking its own progress. Each child is a durable TurenOS session with a bounded prompt and explicit authority.

## Typical flow

1. The parent spawns a specialized agent for one concrete question or change.
2. TurenOS returns a task ID immediately.
3. The child performs read-only research, scoped implementation, qualification, or review.
4. Findings can be reported incrementally.
5. The parent incorporates results or waits for the complete report when necessary.

## Built-in roles

## Authority

Write roots and shell commands are granted explicitly. Read-only children receive neither. Delegation depth is bounded so children cannot recursively fan out without limit.

Use parallel children only for independent work. Two agents should not edit the same file or investigate the same question.
